Naturally, we would discuss your financial situation with you, taking account of your current assets (including pensions), liabilities, income and future plans before analysing the information and making appropriate recommendations. These would take account of, for example, the relative tax merits of different types of investments, the access to capital that you require and your attitude towards investment risk.
We find from our experience that the funds in some investment and pension plans are not monitored by a financial adviser. In addition, the overall investments may not be suitable for an individual’s risk profile, for example, an individual who has a cautious approach may have the majority of his or her investments in higher risk funds and vice versa. We can provide you with a review of your existing personal pension plans and investments.
These services are generally available when an individual or couple have a minimum of £50,000 in investments or personal pension plans.
The Cost of Advice
An initial meeting is without cost or obligation. The cost of advice would be agreed with you before any chargeable work is completed. In many instances this is paid directly by the product provider. However, you have the option to pay directly.
